Speed Networking Workshop
Attention all education professionals!
Do you remember the agony of walking across a lonely room to speak to someone you respect and admire but had never met? Help our graduate students share the benefit of your knowledge and experience by taking part in this short workshop that seeks to circumvent that awkward approach-and-introduction and get right to the heart of the matter: relationships.
Please download the document below to sign-up.
Networking is a life skill that develops relationships for long-term mutual gain. This skill is critical to personal growth and career development.
The EGSS Conference Committee invites you to an innovative forum that provides an opportunity to network with McGill deans, faculty, and colleagues. Speed Networking creates an easy and spontaneous atmosphere that circumvents the awkward approach-and-introduce phase and goes right to the heart of the matter: relationships!
The session takes place the first day of the EGSS Education Conference:
Friday, March 9th, from 3:20 - 5:00 pm.
Room 200, Coach House, 3315 Peel
It's not too late to sign up either at the registration table, or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are unable to register, don't be scared off, just show up. Take a peek below at the educational leaders who will be in attendance and get ready to start a conversation with a question you've prepared in advance. Drawing a blank? Not to worry, we'll have conversation starters as well as light refreshments, and door prizes!
